School Administration
Principal: Dr. Ashley Sandor
Mrs. Sandor is honored to continue serving as Principal of Lincoln High School and is excited to build upon the strong traditions and culture that make LHS such a special place. She joined Lincoln High as an Assistant Principal at LHS after serving as an Assistant Principal at Placer High School and previously held administrative roles at Buljan and Chilton Middle Schools. Prior to becoming an administrator, she taught high school English, including AP Language and AP Literature, and served as a coach, Link Crew Coordinator, Assistant Athletic Director, and Intervention Coordinator.
Mrs. Sandor earned her bachelor's degree in English from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, her master's degree in English, and her Doctor of Education from the University of Massachusetts Global. She lives in the Lincoln community with her husband and their two children, Stella and Jack, and is a devoted San Francisco Giants fan. Mrs. Sandor is proud to serve the Lincoln community and remains committed to strengthening a school culture centered on relationships, collaboration, high expectations, and ensuring that Every Zebra. Assistant Principal: Mr. Jason Brandt

Having completed his BA in History and a Social Sciences Teaching Credential at CSU East Bay, Mr. Brandt began his teaching career at Newark Memorial High School in the Bay Area. In 2004 he and his wife moved to Roseville, where he began a new adventure as a middle school teacher at Silverado Middle School. Later he had the opportunity to open a brand new school site, Creekview Ranch Middle School, where he taught for many years before moving back to high school teaching World History and AP European History at Woodcreek High School. Mr. Brandt was then invited to teach at Pasteur Middle School in San Juan USD. While there he earned his Masters in Educational Administration and his Administrative Services Credential through National University, and had the privilege of serving as an Interim Vice Principal at Andrew Carnegie Middle School. In 2021, Mr. Brandt continued his administrative endeavors at H. Clarke Powers in the Loomis Union School District, where he served as Principal. Mr. Brandt lives in Roseville with his wife Michelle and their four children, Noah, Liam, Adaline, and Andrew. He loves spending time with his family outdoors (Hume Lake is his favorite place on earth), and has coached more of his kids' sports teams than he can remember. He always looks forward to the start of a new school year because that means football season is about to start. Go Niners! Mr. Brandt believes that every student is capable of incredible success and learning at a high level, and that is done through the building of genuine relationships and investing time in getting to know students on an individual level. Assistant Principal: Mr. Michael Dow
Assigned Students: Last Names M-Z
Mr. Dow is VERY excited to join the Zebra Family this year as an Assistant Principal! He began his teaching career at Fort Bragg High School before moving to Nevada Union High School in Grass Valley. He has taught Math for 15 years at all high school levels from Integrated 1 through Calculus, including multiple levels of Math Lab. He has also taught the AVID Elective, Coached and Trained Student Tutors, and taught SAT Prep Courses. He coached the JV Baseball team in Fort Bragg leading them to place in the top three every year. Mr. Dow is a Northern California native. He was raised in Chico, and earned his undergraduate degree in Mathematics Education and Teaching Credential from Chico State. He completed his Administrative Service Credential through University of Massachusetts Global, and is working to complete his Masters in Educational Leadership through them this year as well. Mr. Dow lives in Grass Valley with his wife, Felisha, and their two boys, Esher (9) and Ezra (5). As a family they love to go camping, are very involved in 4-H, as well as avid beekeepers. Both boys attend Alta Sierra Elementary. Esher recently made the competition team in gymnastics, and is a leader in 4-H while participating in multiple projects. Ezra is eagerly following in his brother's footsteps, and is looking to outrank his older brother someday! Mr. Dow believes in, has seen, and been a part of the transformative power that education has on students. He believes that every student can learn and excel in any endeavor that they put their minds to. He is very excited to bring his passion and enthusiasm to the Lincoln Community, GOOOO ZEBRAS!!!

Coordinator of Student Services, Mr. James Hopkins
James Hopkins began his career serving individuals and families across a variety of community-based settings, including student intervention, school/community based mental health, adult mental health services, group homes, and juvenile justice diversion programs. These experiences provided him with a deep understanding of the complex challenges individuals face and reinforced his passion for building meaningful relationships, connecting individuals with resources, and helping them overcome barriers to success.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from California State University, Chico, James continues his professional growth by pursuing a master’s degree in School Counseling. His passion for supporting students led him to join Lincoln High School as the Site-Based Student Services Coordinator, where he collaborates with students, families, staff, and community partners to strengthen school culture.
James lives in the Roseville area with his wife, Tarissa, and their two sons, Elijah and Isaac. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, strength training, attending live theater performances featuring his sons, exploring the outdoors, traveling and finding new foods to try.
James believes that meaningful relationships are the foundation of student success. Every student deserves to feel known, valued, and connected, and he is committed to helping remove barriers so each student can thrive. He is committed to fostering a school culture where students experience belonging, accountability, and encouragement to reach their fullest potential. Whether he's supporting a student, collaborating with a team, or spending time with his family, the goal remains the same: to make a positive and lasting impact on the people around him. He is excited to be part of the Fighting Zebra community and looks forward to partnering with students, families, and staff to make Lincoln High School a place where everyone can learn, grow, and succeed.
