Principal: Mrs. Jennifer Hladun

 

Mrs. Hladun joined the Zebra Family in January 2021. Prior to coming to Lincoln High School, she served the communities of Lincoln Crossing, Foskett Ranch and Twelve Bridges Middle Schools. She taught biological sciences in middle and high school settings and worked at the university level in student services. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from UNLV (Go Rebels!), and her teaching credential and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Brandman University. Prior to becoming a teacher, she worked in the private sector for Apple Computer and E*Trade Financial in hiring, training and intern development. Mrs. Hladun lives in the Roseville area with her husband and two sons - Luke is graduating from the U of Oregon this year with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy (Go Ducks!); Benjamin will be a freshman at West Park HS. Mrs. Hladun is honored to serve the community of Lincoln High School and is passionate about building on our rich tradition of excellence in academics, arts, athletics and activities. She looks forward to furthering our mission and vision as a site by supporting students, faculty and staff as they pursue their dreams in and out of the classroom.

Mr. Brandt

Assistant Principal: Mr. Jason Brandt

Having completed his BA in History and a Social Sciences Teaching Credential at CSU East Bay, Mr. Brandt began his teaching career at Newark Memorial High School in the Bay Area.  In 2004 he and his wife moved to Roseville, where he began a new adventure as a middle school teacher at Silverado Middle School. Later he had the opportunity to open a brand new school site, Creekview Ranch Middle School, where he taught for many years before moving back to high school teaching World History and AP European History at Woodcreek High School.  Mr. Brandt was then invited to teach at Pasteur Middle School in San Juan USD.  While there he earned his Masters in Educational Administration and his Administrative Services Credential through National University, and had the privilege of serving as an Interim Vice Principal at Andrew Carnegie Middle School.  In 2021, Mr. Brandt continued his administrative endeavors at H. Clarke Powers in the Loomis Union School District, where he served as Principal.  Mr. Brandt lives in Roseville with his wife Michelle and their four children, Noah, Liam, Adaline, and Andrew.  He loves spending time with his family outdoors (Hume Lake is his favorite place on earth), and has coached more of his kids' sports teams than he can remember.  He always looks forward to the start of a new school year because that means football season is about to start.  Go Niners!  Mr. Brandt believes that every student is capable of incredible success and learning at a high level, and that is done through the building of genuine relationships and investing time in getting to know students on an individual level.  Let’s Go Zebras!!

Assistant Principal: Mrs. Ashley Sandor

Mrs. Sandor

Mrs. Sandor is excited to be joining the Zebra family this year! She is coming to us most recently from Placer High School but has experience as an Assistant Principal since 2015 at both Buljan and Chilton Middle Schools. Prior to her work as an administrator, she taught English (9-12, AP Lang/Comp., AP Lit./Comp., and electives), was a Link Crew Coordinator, and Varsity Softball coach at Monterey Trail High School, South Oldham High School (Kentucky), and Antelope High School. She also served as an Assistant Athletic Director and Intervention Coordinator. Mrs. Sandor earned her undergraduate degree in English-Literature & Composition from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, her Masters in English-Literature & Composition, and her doctorate degree from University of Massachusetts Global. Mrs. Sandor lives in the Lincoln community with her husband, son, and daughter: Stella attends Twelve Bridges Middle School and Jack attends Twelve Bridges Elementary School. The Sandors are devoted San Francisco Giants fans! Mrs. Sandor is very excited to serve the community of Lincoln and can't wait to meet staff, students, and families. She loves Lincoln, understands the idea of a tradition oriented high school, and is thrilled to continue in that tradition to further build strong school culture and community.

Assistant Principal: Ms. Laura Estes

Assigned Students: Last Names Os-Z

Ms. Estes is coming back to the Zebra Family for her third year! She has an eclectic background, serving students as a school counselor in TK-12 for many years, including counseling outside the school system with adults and families, teaching at the university level, and publishing past research projects. She grew up in a small, rural farming community of Linden, CA and was involved in academic organizations as well as athletics. She earned her undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies from CSU Fresno (Go Bulldogs!) and went on to receive a MS in Counseling: Marriage and Family Therapy and a Pupil Personnel Credential in School Counseling from the same university. She furthered her education and received a MS in Applied Psychology where she published articles and co-authored a book chapter, conducted research, presented nationally and internationally, and taught at the university level. Ms. Estes lives in Auburn, CA with her son and has a huge family and community-wide support system. She is active in her son's community and has coached little league, coached youth soccer, taken pictures at community-wide events, and has been involved in her son's school PTC, including being a Yearbook Coordinator. She is honored to be a part of the Zebra Family in Placer County, in particular the Lincoln community. She brings a passion for student and staff wellness, social/emotional learning, and family engagement, as well as a whole child approach to her work. She is so excited to be a part of the Fighting Zebra Family!
