Assistant Principal: Mr. John Kovach

Assigned Students: A-Gom

Mr. Kovach is very excited to be joining the Zebra family once again! He began his journey in education after graduating from CSU, Chico, when he was quickly hired in WPUSD as a teacher at both Glen Edwards Middle School and Creekside Oaks Elementary School. This began a 19-year span of working for WPUSD where he has taught at, or been an administrator at Glen Edwards, Creekside Oaks, Lincoln High, Sheridan Elementary, First Street School and Twelve Bridges Elementary School. He then ventured out and into the Marysville area where he was an elementary principal for two years, and then in Yuba City where he has been a high school principal for the past 3 years. He has also coached wrestling, golf and football at Lincoln High, as well as baseball, soccer and softball in the Lincoln community for Lincoln Youth. He is very excited to be back at Lincoln High School in his 25th year of being in education! His wife is a teacher at Twelve Bridges Elementary School and they are proud of all 6 of our kids who have come through Lincoln High School! He is excited to return home to LHS, and to serve the community that took such good care of his family.
